Nicole Ridgway is Editor in Chief of The 74 where she manages all aspects of the newsroom, from daily coverage to broader editorial strategy.
She joined the organization in the summer of 2024, following more than 25 years with a variety of national media outlets. Prior to joining The 74, Nicole served as a Managing Editor of CNN Business, where she guided breaking news and enterprise coverage, launched new storytelling and content initiatives and verticals, and helped oversee product and events strategy.
She also previously served in leadership roles at AOL, Forbes and Dow Jones, and is the author of the 2005 book The Running of the Bulls: Inside the Cutthroat Race from Wharton to Wall Street.
